Is maaco good the deep scratchs and dent repairs???
I used maaco years ago to get my entire car painted (another color) they did a B job, but I was wondering how are the with matching colors so they can fix a dent or scratchs. What is your experience.

If your insurance is the one paying for this I would go to a dealership bodyshop.
No sense getting it done at a place that is more concerned about quantity rather than quality.
Personally I would avoid Maaco. They don’t even strip the old paint, they just primer over it.

Your lucky you got a B job – there must have been someone in there that knew there ash from a hole in the head – I’m suprised….
They have the paint – and the mixing room.
They just dont have the skills – or the knowledge of paint to get a job out the door that looks good – and lasts a long time.

I wouldn’t do it. I would take it to a REPUTABLE body shop and let them do the repairs.
Let’s be honest if you’re looking for a $200 paint job – you’re going to get something that looks like a $200 paint job. My guess is that they would fix the scratch – but you would be able to tell that something had been covered up. They won’t go to all the work of making it look seamless.
