car paint scratch repair?

Today I was in the McDonald’s drive thru & I scraped up against the parking pole as I rounded the corner. Now I have a bunch of scratched near my back tire & I was wondering how much I’m looking at for a repair. I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and of course my paint color would be a metallic blue which is difficult to match. Will it be more than $300
? Its hard for me to tell how deep the scratches are because there is still pain from the pole on my car.

need to know how much damage is done but if you scraped against a pole my guess is that you will well exceed $300 if you have that new of a car i would imagine you have full coverage insurance so turn it in

It’s hard to tell the extent of the damage and cost of repair by your description. I would recommend going to a reputable auto body shop for an estimate and ultimately repairs.

you might not be able to get them fully removed, if theyre too deep
but can make them smaller and remove the paint from the pole

i would try meguiars ultimate compound, and buff them out with a microfiber towel

    cost: 10 bucks

    repaint: couple hundred
    you choose
