Car dents?

For some reason people like to hit my car as if it were a magnet. So I have small dents that are not deep at all just noticeable. It I had to say the size I would say it is about a foot long.. Not deep though. My question is, How do I get rid of those dents without buying anything special?

Depends on where they are located on the car? If you can like open your trunk and see it you can use a rubber mallet and hit them out. Other wise you will need to find something you can put in the center of the dent that will create a strong suction and pull them out. I don’t know how much those dent doctors are that I have seen on TV.

Or you can call a auto supply store and ask someone there what you buy that will not be too expensive. They will be able to help with what will work best on the part of car your dents are at.

    Good luck

Hello Shady,The paintless dent removal people use several different long steel rods to reach behind the dents and carefully pry them back out as best as possible.Sometimes they drill a hole to put it in,located inside where it won’t matter. Then,I’ve seen dent removal kits that consist of a tool that is glued to the surface and is screwed out. Then the glue is removed. That might be promising for some areas.Every dent is different and will require a different method. In the body shop we use a tool that welds a stud to the steel, then a slide hammer pulls it out.Of course that requires paint work. Good luck,Wildmanny
